How Much Does A Website Cost In Nigeria?

A plain-English guide to website prices in Nigeria: typical ranges, what changes the price and the extra costs to plan for. The figures are indicative market ranges to help you budget, not Zentro Sites rates.

Typical Website Prices, By Project Type

Indicative ranges that Nigerian businesses commonly see in the market. Your actual quote depends on your project.

Simple business website

Typical range

₦150,000 to ₦500,000

About 5 to 8 pages, contact form, mobile-friendly, basic SEO set-up.

Larger or custom business website

Typical range

₦200,000 to ₦1,500,000+

More pages, custom design, blog, integrations, booking or membership features.

Online store (WooCommerce)

Typical range

₦200,000 to ₦2,000,000+

Products, payments (Paystack, Flutterwave), delivery rules, stock and order emails.

Website redesign

Typical range

Similar to a new build

Depends on pages, content and redirects needed to protect your rankings.

What Changes The Price, Most

Pages and design

More pages and fully custom design take more time than a simple layout.

Features

Booking, memberships, portals, multilingual pages and integrations add development work.

E-commerce

Products, payment gateways, delivery rules and stock management increase the scope.

Content and images

Copywriting, photography and graphics are separate work unless you supply them.

SEO set-up

Keyword research, page titles, schema and redirects add effort but protect your visibility.

Support

Training, maintenance and support after launch are often priced separately.

Costs After Launch

Plan for these too

A website has running costs. Plan for the domain name each year, managed WordPress hosting, an SSL certificate (often included), premium plugins or themes where needed, maintenance and any marketing you do to bring in visitors.

Payment gateway fees apply to online stores. Ask each provider what they charge per transaction.

How To Compare Quotes

Check these first

Compare quotes line by line. Ask whether design, mobile layouts, SEO basics, hosting, training and after-launch support are included. Confirm who owns the website, and what you will pay in year two.

Website Cost Questions, Answered

How much does a website cost in Nigeria?

Simple business websites commonly cost from around ₦150,000 to ₦500,000, larger custom sites can run from ₦200,000 to ₦1,500,000 or more, and online stores from ₦200,000 to ₦2,000,000 or more depending on payments, delivery and product set-up. These are rough market ranges, not a quote.

Why do quotes vary so much?

Because websites differ. The number of pages, custom design, features, content writing, photography, integrations, hosting and support all change the price. A cheap quote may leave out things a more detailed quote includes.

Are hosting and domain included?

Not always. Ask whether the first year of hosting and the domain are included, and what the renewal price is.

Can I pay in instalments?

Many agencies split payment into stages, such as a deposit, a mid-project payment and a final payment on launch. Ask for the payment schedule in writing.
